Anime Baka

Anime - Japanese Animation
Baka - Japanese word for idiot or fool

Loosely put an Anime Baka is someone who's crazy about Anime. However interpretation's may vary. I tend to think of Anime Baka as meaning something like drooling fan boy/girl.

Anime Baka Contact

Wrote this a long time ago. Too short for an article:
Perverted - Hentai in Japanese. But the word pervert means deviation from normal or accepted. So, how can all guys be perverts?

Did you ever notice that the sex scene in the movie is generally at about the same realative place as the guitar solo in a song?

Anime Baka reviews

Anime - Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts) 4.5 out of 5

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Japanese)
The Eternity You Desire.

This is recommended to people who like Koi Kaze, so I gave it a try. I'm halfway through and it's horrible, horrible for ripping you're heart out.

There is some comic relief, something completely absent in Koi Kaze, but it's not overwhelming. It reminds me of Kimagure Orange Road with the drama of Mysterious Play and it doesn't hold back any on the R rated stuff. It's a basic love triangle with two females and a male. It's almost identical to KOR but with more hot emotions. Betrayal. Guilt. Sex. Tears. Misunderstandings. Betrayal. Lies. Guilt. More Tears.

Oh, the comic relief, a little cute blonde girl who reminds me of Rui from Nadesco, but with a much hotter temper who keeps telling people to "go step in cat shit!" Just think, you can learn new Japanese phrases. Actually in the 3rd episode she shoots of a spiel that might make Clint Eastwood blush. If you ever get her as a waitress, be sure to tip her well and don't complain if she brings you the wrong dish.

This is such a wonderful anime. It leaves you with such a warm, err, well it kinda leaves you sobbing. It features what I can only describe as a male victim rape. He's in the shower scrubbing her off afterwards. This is a good story. It doesn't pull punches.

Funimation put it out as "Rumbling Hearts" which in no way compares to the original title. But when I asked them about it they said that the company they licensed it from specified the new title. Yuck!
